Why MLA Nano Brows ?
At Microblading LA, our expert artists have mastered the art of Nano Brows. Our signature technique ensures precision, consistency, and results that look effortlessly natural. With our meticulous approach, we tailor each brow to complement your unique facial features and preferences, ensuring brows that not only look stunning but also feel authentically yours.
Feathered Nano Brows: This style gives a slightly more "fluffy" appearance. The strokes are created in a way that makes the brows look fuller and more feathered out, especially towards the tail end.
Ombre Nano Brows: This is a combination technique where the front of the brow has lighter, more spaced-out strokes, and the density increases towards the tail, giving an ombre effect.
Brows will take about 4- 6 weeks until they reach their final look. But it only takes 2 weeks for scabbing process to complete. After 2 weeks you can return to normal routine and activities.
We recommend yearly touch ups to keep the color fresh. It varies from client to client, but it can be 9 months to 2 years, depending on the client’s skin type and life style.
Clients with normal skin are perfect candidates for microblading, not too oily or sensitive. Our Master Artist will sometimes suggest Combo Brows for client’s with moderately oily skin and are oily skin clients are better suited for Powder Brows. Our Online Appointment Process will assess your eyebrows and skin by asking you a few questions and based on your answers it will recommend a certain technique (Microblading, Powder brows, or Combo brows) and artist best suited for you.
Anyone with oily skin. Oily skin will cause the hairstrokes to become thicker over time. The oil in the skin causes the pigment underneath the skin to disperse. If you suspect you have oily skin, we offer a consultation over email.
Just send us a photo of your skin without makeup at its normal level of oily-ness and one of our Master Artists will evaluate your skin and make their best recommendation. You can upload a photo on our contact page. Clients with oily skin are better suited for Powder Brows.
Preparing for your appointment
We love nothing more than to give you the most amazing results possible. To be able to do that we need to work together and make sure you are ready for your appointment. Just like an artist needs a blank canvas to begin an art piece, our MLA Master Artists need you to follow the restrictions below to ensure your skin is in the best possible condition, so they can create a masterpiece for you in the most optimal conditions so read carefully:
Pre-Appointment Restrictions
DO NOT get a chemical peel
DO NOT get a Botox treatment
DO NOT tan or have a sunburned
DO NOT pluck, wax, tint, thread, or apply any hair removal
DO NOT use Retinols/Retin-A or other anti-aging/acne creams
Do NOT apply on eyebrows any sermons containing acids
DO NOT take aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, vitamin E, fish oil (omega-3) or CoQ10
DO NOT drink alcohol or caffeine
Please arrive with no eye makeup on.

THE HEALING PROCESS
Taking care of your new brows after treatment is extremely important to how your eyebrows will look after they are fully healed and the longevity of your eyebrows.
Our MLA Master Artists created a masterpiece fused with your own natural beauty, as they were trained to do, but taking care of it afterwards is your responsibility so we highly recommend to follow these aftercare instructions methodically:
Aftercare Instructions
Keep clean and dry, do not touch your eyebrows! They may feel tender and appear a little red.
Brows will start developing a thin layer of scab, continue keeping your brows dry and clean.
Apply a rice grain amount of aftercare ointment on each eyebrow with a cotton swab and clean hands, spread a VERY THIN layer of the ointment across the treated area every morning and night.
Brows should not appear greasy, glossy or shiny, if so you used too much, as this can suffocate the skin and delay healing. Never apply ointment on wet or damp tattoo. Continue ointment until your brows are no longer scabbing.
Brows are safe from water. Client may return to normal skincare routines.
Brows will appear very light, after scabs comes off, every week up to 6 weeks color will continue to surface and brows will get darker again

Maintaining your brows
A new set of Nano Brows takes two appointments to complete and for that reason your 6-8 weeks touchup appointment is complementary. After the complementary appointment we recommend a yearly touchup to maintain the crispness and freshness of your brows. However, we do offer different touchup schedules because everyone experience the fading process differently and may need to get a touchup sooner than one year.
Natural fading occurs from external factors such as exposure to the sun as well as internal factors such as the gradual break down of pigments as your body metabolizes it out of your system. Everyone can experience the fading process differently and it really comes down to skin type and lifestyle.
